With just six weeks to go before the Texas primary, Lizzie and the team have been out and about across the district, and we have lots of great things to report.
We had a great Day of Action this Saturday, with volunteers showing up to block-walk and deliver yard signs—even in 30 degree-weather! We also had folks come in to write postcards and to pick them up and take them home. Lizzie was also the featured speaker at the Front Porch Democrats meeting this weekend in Fort Bend!

Yesterday marked the 51st anniversary of Roe v. Wade . Lizzie’s been speaking out and listening in with people across our community about the state of reproductive health care in Texas. She joined Congressman Colin Allred, State Senator Wendy Davis, and candidate Michelle Vallejo for a joint press conference on Texas after Dobbs that was covered across the state, reminding Texans of what is at stake in 2024.
As Lizzie has pointed out, Roe v. Wade was brought by Texas women, raising hell and challenging the system, and today Texas women like Amanda Zurawski, Kate Cox, and Austin Dennard are leading the fight again, sharing their stories and taking action. There is a way every Texan, and every American, can fight back: vote against those taking away our freedom and vote for those who are fighting to restore it. Our campaign will make sure voters know that this year.
News Flash! New endorsements keep rolling in for Lizzie. The Texas Gulf Coast Area Labor Federation—the largest AFL-CIO in the country, which unites 95 local unions with over 60,000 members—has endorsed Lizzie again in 2024.
