On a private campaign call, our far-right opponent Mike Garcia said that GOP impeachment efforts of one of President Biden’s cabinet officials would be “therapeutic.”
He acknowledged that these sham impeachment efforts wouldn’t succeed, but still said that the House GOP majority still needs “a pound of flesh.”
This leaked audio really shines a light on Garcia’s priorities. These aren’t the words of someone interested in uplifting our community. Garcia is putting political retribution before his constituents. That’s exactly why his approval rating in CA-27 has plummeted by nearly 10% in the last few months.
