Friend,

I never thought my first TV commercial would bring out the attacks, but it did. Our positive and strong campaign must have some folks worried — because there's been a sharp rise in negative rhetoric towards me.

Do more. Send Anthony Portantino to Congress.

Oddly enough, there is a silver lining to this negativity — this increase in commentary towards me signifies I'm being seen as the leading candidate in this congressional race. To celebrate this position, we also have several events throughout the district coming up. Please see the information and RSVP below:

Wednesday, January 24 - Come to the Adams Hill neighborhood of Glendale tomorrow for a meet and greet hosted by Stephen Meek at KAFN Coffee.

Saturday, January 27 - I'll be spending my birthday at my friends Brian Curran and Kevin MacLellan's wonderful home in Hancock Park. Come join our campaign and celebration by helping me raise the necessary funds to keep my commercial on the airwaves and close out the final weeks of the primary campaign in a strong position.

Saturday, February 3 - Join former Burbank Mayor Marsha Ramos and retired Burbank educator and union leader Diana Abasta at Burbank’s Geo Gallery.

The best way to combat the negativity and help me guard against more of the same is to keep our effort on track. If you're unable to make one of these events and you want to help, please consider a donation, request a yard sign, or come volunteer.

Warmly,

Anthony
