The first Democratic primary election for our Squad is rapidly approaching: Rep. Summer Lee’s primary in Pennsylvania’s 12th district is officially 3 months away on April 23.

Summer made history in 2022 when she became the first Black Congresswoman from Pennsylvania — despite facing more than $3 million in attacks from AIPAC.

Since then, she’s courageously fought for bold, progressive change including police reform, workers’ rights, a livable wage, and a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

AIPAC wasted no time working to recruit candidates to challenge Summer in her 2024 re-election race. The anti-Palestinian lobby group launched attack ads against Summer in November, and they’re planning to spend an unprecedented $100 million to unseat her and fellow Squad members this year.

As of today, there are just three months left for us to fight back against AIPAC’s influx of right-wing, mega-donor dark money and ensure Summer wins her primary against two moderate opponents this April.
