This week marked 51 years since the original Roe v. Wade ruling and, while I continue to fiercely defend reproductive rights, some anti-abortion extremist members of Congress are continuing their assault on our freedoms.

Just last week, they introduced not one, but two bills that attack our right to choose.

At the same time, the proposed Kansas Republican Party platform takes a firm stance against abortion access, despite Kansas voters overwhelmingly voting in favor of it. My opponents have made it clear that when it comes to reproductive freedom, they are on the wrong side of history.

The GOP are out of step with where voters are and it’s up to us to fight back this anniversary week and every day. Will you join by being one of the 1,000 activists we need to sign on by midnight?
