The Gift of Choice

The idea for IMPACT Shoes came to Woods Chapel UMC lay member Jenna Saucier when she was praying in her closet. Empowered by her local church and additional funds from a Missouri Conference Costner-Fulton award, Saucier is helping local schoolchildren walk confidently. IMPACT Shoes provides new shoes in a student’s choice of style and color, no proof-of-need required. The nearly 330 pairs of shoes distributed so far are making an impact on students, school staff and the Woods Chapel congregation. [link removed] Read more →
