Yesterday marked what should have been the 51st anniversary of Roe v. Wade — and Mary Gay commemorated the day by joining her colleague Madeleine Dean and the PA Dems to speak out against the MAGA GOP’s despicable efforts to ban abortion nationwide.

Let’s be absolutely clear: Republicans played a long game to load our Supreme Court with the sole priority of overturning Roe v. Wade , and now they’re taking it a step further with extremist state bans and criminalization. This threat to our rights is simply unacceptable and must be stopped.

Here’s what Mary Gay had to say at the event:
"This election is a choice between President Biden and Vice President Harris, who trust us to make our own choices, and Donald Trump, who brags every day that he 'got rid of Roe v. Wade'... The Biden-Harris Administration has stood up for America and Americans every single day—the choice is clear.”

President Biden and his administration are fighting every day to protect our rights and lay the groundwork for a safer future. We’re fortunate to have his leadership in office – now it’s our turn to step up and keep him in the White House come November.

The choice in 2024 is clear, and we will fight tooth and nail up and down the ballot to protect our rights and our families here in PA and across the country.
