This ad is about resilience and it is about the future of Orange County. With less than two weeks until ballots are mailed in CA-47, it could not come at a more pivotal time.

This is a huge moment for our grassroots campaign. With our first ad of the election cycle, we can reach thousands of undecided voters in their homes and on their phones.

As I say in the ad, I am no stranger to challenges. Surfing is one of the things that taught me that – how to fall and get back up. Being an attorney and a mom taught me that. Founding a nonprofit to protect our democracy taught me that.

That will be no different in Congress. I know it will be a challenge to stand up to extremists, but I am not fazed. It will be my duty to show up for Orange County and deliver for this community.
