Jack, this is pathetic. The MAGA GOP doesn't have the votes to impeach President Biden, so now they're shifting gears by baselessly going after Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. An impeachment resolution vote is planned for January 31.

Republicans have a razor-thin majority in the House. Rather than try to get things done for the American people, they are using this to score political points against the Biden Administration.
The various Hunter Biden investigations have yielded nothing, so now they're going after Secretary Mayorkas – hoping that it focuses attention on the U.S.-Mexico border to bolster their base. They are banking on this to build momentum for a Trump election year.
2023 was one of Congress' most ineffective years—and the way things are going, MAGA Republicans are trying to make 2024 even worse. It's time to tell them to stop.
