The recent U.N. Climate Conference of Parties (COP28) was perhaps the most contentious in history, as world leaders debated, argued, and negotiated over how to reduce emissions at both a national and global scale. While leaders agreed on several provisions that ASBN fought for – such as reduction of methane emissions – COP28 ended with many open questions that must be solved in the coming year.
I’ve just published a blogpost to help the ASBN community understand what COP28 means for our climate, and how it impacts ASBN’s policy priorities in 2024.
