It’s that time of year again John. Our annual supporter survey is a chance to reflect on our work from the last 12 months, and put our heads together to make big plans for the year ahead.

And this year is crucial. With a general election on the horizon, 2024 is set to be a massive year (and opportunity) to work towards our vision for radical economic systems change.

Since the 2019 election, we’ve had 3 prime ministers, 4 Home Secretaries, and 5 Chancellors - but our broken economic system has stayed the same. We want to hear your thoughts on how best we can escape this economic rut, and the more of us who weigh in to help shape our strategy, the stronger it’ll be.

Approximately how long have you been a supporter of Positive Money?

Our annual supporter survey is a chance to shape our strategy for a fairer money and banking system. Last year, over 1,200 people took part, and we’ve brought hundreds of new supporters on board since then. As a people-powered movement, we want to make sure everyone has a chance to get their voice heard, because we make better decisions when we make them together.

We took bold action in 2023, John. We kicked things off by responding to the Silicon Valley banking crisis, got cross-party support for our #TaxTheBanks campaign and exposed the UK’s biggest bank’s links to the genocide in Gaza on social media. We want to get even bolder in 2024.

This election year, we need to do all we can to make our vision a reality, and 20,000+ brains are better than 1, to help build an economy that works in the interests of people and planet - not profit.
