Hi John,

Today, we get to celebrate! It’s the birthday of our Executive Director and founder, Jeri Bonavia. 

As we try to make Jeri’s day special, we hope you’ll help us celebrate by donating to WAVE. She has poured so much dedication, passion, and energy into making Wisconsin safer and more peaceful; nothing would make her feel more honored than your gift to help prevent gun violence. 

Other than work, one of Jeri's greatest passions is hiking with any or all of her kids and grandkids!

Frankly, there are a lot of reasons to celebrate Jeri. You probably already know, for example, that she’s a fearless advocate for gun violence prevention. You might not be aware, though, that she’s a phenomenal boss and an amazing human. 

To give you a taste of what makes Jeri so inspiring, we asked each WAVE staff member what they admire about her. We received way too much positive feedback to put in one email, but here are some highlights:
