Nearly two years ago, I announced my candidacy for State Representative in the 30th House District. Since then, I have had the opportunity to get to know - and serve - tens of thousands of my neighbors in McCandless, Franklin Park, Hampton, Kilbuck, Ohio Twp, Ben Avon, Ben Avon Heights, and Emsworth.
Serving in this capacity has been an honor, and I want to continue to as your state representative. That’s why I’m officially announcing today that I’m running for reelection.
Since I began my political career two years ago, the stakes have only become higher. But together we’ve achieved a lot.
⚕️Women’s right to access reproductive healthcare has come under attack, and we’ve fought successfully to protect it.
🍎In the face of continued attacks on our schools, we’ve fought and won historic investments in public education - the largest education funding increase in PA history and universal school breakfasts for every child.
🚨As we continue to be shocked and horrified by the gun violence epidemic in this country, we passed historic gun control legislation and investments in first responders to protect our community.
