The 2024 election will be fiercely contested amid a landscape rife with threats to our democracy: rising
authoritarianism and violence, political insiders rigging electoral maps, disinformation spread by social
media and relentless assaults on voting rights by state legislatures and conservative courts.
Common Cause stands against these threats and continues to build a plan of action that can and will
deliver victory. In the past year alone, it has removed barriers to the ballot box, blocked bad actors who
want to suppress the vote, run successful election-protection programs and pushed back against partisan
gerrymandering.
But Common Cause needs our support. It needs all of us who want a government that works for
everyone—not just the wealthy few—to do our part.
