We're hopeful that the recent ceasefire in Idlib holds and brings much-needed relief for families and children who have endured years of airstrikes, shellings and violence. But these breaks in hostilities are never certain and have been short-lived in the past.
And, John, the truth is: even in this moment, millions of Syrians remain displaced.
