San Franciscans deserve to be safe in our communities.

Dear John:

We had an amazing campaign kickoff on Saturday with dozens of volunteers joining labor and community leaders in support of Prop B!

Our very first campaign rally featured emergency workers, merchants and elected leaders who agree: we need to act to recruit and hire more police officers so we can make our neighborhoods safer. As Burt Wilson, 911 Dispatcher, said:

“We are all part of the safety team. Dispatchers are the first responders answering the call that can save someone’s life. We work hand-in-hand with police, fire, and medical. And we need to stand together to improve staffing, invest in prevention and better respond to emergencies. As first responders, we support Prop B and a smarter public safety strategy.”

Our volunteers were fired up after the rally and we immediately hit the streets in the Richmond District, talking to voters about why Prop B is so important.
