Friends,

On this day in 1973, the Supreme Court affirmed a woman's right to choose. The Roe v. Wade decision marked a crucial step toward reproductive freedom. But two years ago, that decision was catastrophically overturned. Now, access to reproductive health care depends on which state you live in and millions of women’s ability to make their own pregnancy decisions is restricted.

As a father and a husband, there is nothing more important to me than ensuring women can make their own decisions about their bodies. I want my daughter to grow up in a world where she has the same rights her mother has had throughout her life.

While Roe is still overturned, it's our responsibility to continue the fight for comprehensive reproductive health care, ensuring that all women can make informed decisions about their bodies and lives. This year, North Carolina must elect candidates who will champion reproductive justice.

I’m staunchly pro-choice because the right to choose is a basic human right and I will always fight for women to make their own health care decisions.Together, we can work toward a future where every person has the freedom to make decisions about their bodies.

Thank you,
