I will never stop fighting to restore reproductive rights and freedoms for all Americans

Angus King for U.S. Senate Campaign

John —

For almost 50 years, the Supreme Court’s ruling in Roe v. Wade set a precedent that enshrined reproductive freedom into our Constitution, granting all Americans the ability to make their own medical decisions.

Today should be our 51st year celebrating that landmark decision, but instead we face the harsh reality that there are those across the country actively working to roll back reproductive rights for millions of Americans.

The Supreme Court’s rejection of Roe less than two years ago was just the beginning. Since then, anti-choice politicians in 14 states have passed full abortion bans — and some have even sought to pass legislation criminalizing abortion care, targeting pregnant women and their doctors.

On this anniversary, I want to make one thing clear: I will never stop fighting to restore reproductive rights and freedoms for all Americans.

I firmly believe that the government should have no say in a woman’s access to health care, and I’m going to continue working to pursue all possible solutions that respect that fundamental right.

If you’re with me, will you pitch in a few dollars to help keep me in the Senate fighting to restore reproductive freedom nationwide?
