Friend —

In 2016, I was working for Planned Parenthood, raising the funds needed to provide healthcare for millions of Americans.

When Trump was elected, I saw the threat he posed to Roe v. Wade. On Election Night 2016, I decided to run for office.

Tweet from @CAPAction: Here's all you need to know about Trump's record on abortion: "For 54 years, they were trying to get Roe v. Wade terminated. I did it, and I'm proud to have done it."

It’s not just Trump. Republicans in Congress have made it clear: They won’t stop until abortion is illegal everywhere, including in blue states like Washington.

We must protect abortion rights at the federal level, just like we’ve done in this Washington. I promise I won't rest until we codify the protections of Roe v. Wade — and I will always stand up for our fundamental freedoms.

Today, on the 51st anniversary of Roe v. Wade, can you chip in $16 or any amount right now to send a champion for reproductive rights to Congress?

In states like Texas, politicians and judges are overruling the personal healthcare decisions of people like Kate Cox.

That’s not okay. None of us want some politician in Washington, D.C. doing that to us.

In the Washington State Senate, I have led on expanding abortion access and reproductive health care. Every legislative session, I’ve written and passed policies to strengthen our access to care. Meanwhile, my anti-choice Republican opponent fueled conspiracy theories about Planned Parenthood.

The stakes of the 2024 election for pregnant people couldn’t be more clear. Simply put: We need more bold and unapologetic champions for abortion rights in Congress. Chip in $16 to our campaign today →
