Fifty-one years ago, the Supreme Court issued Roe v. Wade, codifying a woman’s right to choose. Roe v. Wade’s impact is undeniable; it decriminalized abortions nationwide, expanded safe access to abortion, and helped improve the lives and health of generations of women and families.

Despite decades of national consensus, in 2022, a Supreme Court conservative majority overturned over 50 years of precedent. This ruling has since opened the door for attacks against access to contraception, extreme abortion bans, and the criminalization of women and doctors.

Team, extreme Republicans have committed to building a dangerous future for women and families.

Today, I reaffirm my commitment to reproductive freedom, combatting extreme Republican legislation that infringes on our rights, passing legislation to expand reproductive access and unseating Republicans that threaten our constitutional freedoms.
