On this day 51 years ago, the Supreme Court issued Roe v. Wade , a landmark decision that protected women's right to choose. That right was tragically ripped away in 2022 by SCOTUS’ Dobbs decision…
This anniversary holds a unique weight for me. My son, Joey, was conceived through IVF (in vitro fertilization), a process that was directly protected by Roe v. Wade . Without that protection, the miracle of becoming a father might not have been possible.
This experience has profoundly shaped my commitment to reproductive freedom. It's not just about a woman's right to choose and to make decisions about their own bodies, it's about the freedom to build one's life on their own terms , to pursue parenthood on their own terms, and to access the vital healthcare they need without government interference.

Now, I'm running for Congress because we need someone who will run toward the problems facing our nation – and solve them, not ignore them. Washington, D.C., is riddled with gridlock, corruption, divisive rhetoric, lack of civility, and too much grandstanding. Career politicians like Young Kim are only adding fuel to the fire, and I know how to put those out." - Joe Kerr
