SEEC Member Congressman Seth Magaziner (RI-02) has just introduced a new bill to invest $100 million in clean energy workforce training!
With more clean energy jobs being created today than ever before, The Clean Energy Workforce Act will provide critical funding to ensure Americans are equipped for these jobs of the future.
The clean energy sector is filled with jobs that do not require a 4-year college degree, but they do require specialized training. That’s why we need to invest in a clean energy workforce so we can train people with the skills they need to succeed!
This bill will establish two new grant programs to not only develop new career and technical education training programs, but also help existing programs upgrade or convert to renewable energy since that is the future of our energy sector.
Thanks to your help in 2022, SEEC PAC was able to re-elect over 95% of our pro-environment members to the U.S. House of Representatives — defying the odds on a night where Democrats lost seats. Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 118th Congress while we continue fighting for a sustainable future.
