Thank you for everything you do to protect and preserve our national parks.

Dear Friend of the National Parks,
All of us at NPCA hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and
safe during this unprecedented time.
As our communities struggle to adapt to the evolving COVID-19
pandemic, the national parks that serve as places of refuge for so
many of us are also under threat.
So even during these difficult times, NPCA is continuing to protect
our parks from new dangers, including the president's proposed
FY21 budget that includes nearly $600 million in new cuts for the
National Park Service, as well as reckless plans by the administration
to expand oil and gas drilling in lands that were once protected as
national monuments.
This could be one of the most difficult years all of us, including
our parks, have ever faced ... but no organization is better
equipped to meet them than NPCA, thanks to dedicated members and
supporters like you.
That's why NPCA is launching a new Fight for Your Parks
campaign today to stop multiple threats from doing irreversible harm
to our parks. And to help us fund this important new campaign,
a generous NPCA board member has offered to match every gift we
receive until midnight, March 31st - up to $30,000.

President Trump came into office issuing executive orders that
downsized Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments
by 85 percent. Now his administration is attempting to open what
little remains of these monuments - and dozens of parks across
the country - to destructive oil and gas drilling.
He and the officials he has appointed have systematically undermined,
degraded and outright attacked the laws that protect our public lands,
the agencies that manage them and the irreplaceable resources these
places safeguard for the American people.
To make matters worse, the administration recently put forward a new
budget that includes nearly $600 million in new cuts for the National
Park Service, hundreds of millions more than any other president has
ever proposed.
Together with the matching funds, your new member gift will provide
an extra boost to NPCA's efforts on Capitol Hill to get the FY21
funding and protections our parks need.

You'll also help us keep fighting the administration's
illegal land grab in court, and take on the oil and gas industry
lobbyists trying to plunder our national parks for their own profit.
Can we count on you during these uncertain times?
