Fifty-one years ago today, the Supreme Court made its decision in Roe v. Wade, protecting a woman’s right to make extremely personal decisions about her body and her health care.

That right was taken away when the Supreme Court's extremist conservative majority overturned Roe in 2022. With the protections of Roe stripped away, anti-choice state legislatures across the country are passing bills to restrict reproductive freedom like never before.

Let me be clear, this doesn’t stop at the state level: Republicans have threatened a national abortion ban if they retake the Senate. The outcome of this year’s election – and what we do in Nevada – WILL determine the future of reproductive freedom in our country. And right now, it’s not looking good.

My race is likely to decide Senate control, and the GOP has made me a top target for defeat. Mitch McConnell even took the extra step of handpicking my extremist, anti-choice opponent to run against me – and he just set a new GOP fundraising record.
