Some in Congress have proposed cuts to hospital care and Medicare and it is urgent that these misguided proposals not be included in any vote on the federal budget. Proposed cuts threaten patient access to essential care and would fall disproportionately on vulnerable patients in rural communities, where many hospitals have closed or are at risk of closing.

At a time when so many hospitals are already facing serious financial challenges, Congress should not be considering any proposal that would reduce access to patient care. 

Your Member of Congress needs to hear from you right now. Send a letter to your Representative urging them to protect patient access to care and reject cuts to hospital care.
