HOPE expands to support America’s health workers

Dear Friend,
Since the COVID-19 outbreak began, Project HOPE has been working around the clock to provide protective gear and other critical equipment to doctors and nurses working on the front lines. We’ve already delivered millions of masks and other protective equipment to protect the health workers risking their own lives to save lives.
Coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Puerto Rico and at least 15 countries where we've been working for years, providing lifesaving care to children and families facing other dire health emergencies.
Today, I wanted to share that we are expanding our COVID-19 response to the United States where we are ramping up to support health workers fighting coronavirus in their own communities. As a global humanitarian organization, Project HOPE’s mandate is always to respond where the need is greatest, and right now the need is massive at home AND in places with extremely limited health care like Colombia, Ethiopia and Indonesia.
We will be supporting health workers across the world and in the U.S. as they work to save lives and fight the virus’s deadly spread. And because one case can ignite a cluster, we’re also expoloring ways we can support underserved and vulnerable communities that are unlikely to seek testing.
