Those of us who aren't dangerously naive presidential candidates or Third Way funded media outlets understand that even when we defeat Donald Trump, we are going to need a vast and organized grassroots movement to make the change that will improve the lives of American families.

That's why it's so essential that we pool our talents and resources together before our critical fundraising deadline this Sunday at midnight. Can we count on you to give $27 or whatever you can to fully fund the next phase of our movement to restore a democracy of the people in America?

The first presidential debates of 2020 were a historic moment for our movement, and the culmination of years of organizing together with a common purpose.

Not long ago, Bernie's vision was considered "radical." Ideas that you heard from presidential candidates the last two nights -- getting big money out of politics, Medicare for All, free college education, ending private prisons, and more have become mainstream ideas within the Democratic party, and it didn't happen by accident.

It happened because Bernie Sanders understood from the very beginning that a great president isn't nearly enough to solve the structural issues we face as Americans, and that we must focus on empowering a movement of activists with the tools to restore a democracy of the people in America

To fully fund the next phase of our movement to defeat Donald Trump and corporate oligarchy, we need to pool our resources and talents together. That's why we're asking you to chip in $27, or whatever you can afford, before our crucial fundraising deadline Sunday at midnight →

We have already won the war of ideas in the Democratic party -- despite the increasingly desperate hot-takes you will see from "Third Way" types today and until Bernie is sworn in as president -- but changing America is going to take unprecedented organizing and cooperation.

That's why Sunday's post-debate fundraising deadline is so urgent. We need to start laying the foundations for making Bernie's vision law in the United States. That means a grassroots movement powerful enough to force politicians to respond to the interests of the American people.

Contribute now before Sunday's official fundraising deadline to help us collectively build the foundation necessary for Bernie Sanders' vision to become a reality.
