I want to make sure you saw Santiago’s email about our next training, Arena Academy 201: Data Fluency for Campaign Leaders.

The training will be held online from March 15-17, and applications are due Thursday, February 15 at 11:59 p.m. ET – get started today.

If you’re not sure if this training is for you or if you have questions, we’re hosting an info session tomorrow, Tuesday, January 23, at 8 p.m. ET. 

During the info session, we’ll share more about what you’ll learn at the training, answer questions, and let you in on some secrets for making your application _stand out_.

I’m a Data Fluency for Campaign Leaders grad myself, and I found the skills I learned very helpful for my role last cycle. This training is near to my heart, and I’m excited for campaign decision-makers to hone the data skills that will unlock strategic opportunities for leadership.

Data Fluency for Campaign Leaders is your key to mastering the art of data-driven leadership. From navigating relationships with data staff to optimizing data utilization, our sessions cover strategic thinking and the technical know-how campaigners need to be prepared for the cycle ahead. 

QUICK LOOK AT THE APPLICATION PROCESS
To complete the application, you’ll need to respond to two prompt questions:

• How do you envision utilizing data in your current or prospective role during the 2024 campaign cycle?
• What structures or practices do you feel are underutilized by leaders during decision-making? What is the impact of this?

You can submit a written response of up to 250 words. Read our application tips here.

You will also need to submit a PDF of your resume. (Your resume doesn’t need to be in perfect shape, but if you’d like to update it check out our Writing Your Political Resume Tool).

One theme we see over and over again is that people in positions of leadership must understand how to leverage data as a part of a holistic campaign strategy.

They know it is important to use data to tell the story of their work and make strategic decisions, but many still see data as a hurdle. If you’re eager to confidently use data in your work, this training is for you.
