Judge Judy, with almost four decades of experience on the bench, shares her perspective on President Joe Biden, drawing parallels to her own role in making decisions. In an interview with CNN, she diplomatically addresses concerns about Biden's cognitive abilities due to his age, stating, "Joe Biden is now older. I’m not going to get into what everybody talks about with his cognitive ability, but I know he’s my age."

Acknowledging the demands of running a significant operation, Judge Judy, known as Judy Sheindlin off-screen, points out the challenges of managing responsibilities at an older age. Drawing from her personal experience, she notes, "I run a big business. I’m the matriarch of the family of 20 plus. I make decisions that affect hundreds of people every day. I need a nap in the afternoon. So does Joe Biden — probably two," punctuating her observation by raising two fingers.

Judge Judy expressed her views in New Hampshire while endorsing Nikki Haley in the lead-up to the primary. Unveiling her belief that former President Donald Trump, at 77, might be too old for the presidency, she drew attention to Haley's comparatively younger age of 52. Despite Haley facing a challenging race against Trump, Judge Judy's endorsement is noteworthy, given her usual steadfast demeanor in the courtroom.

This endorsement follows her previous support for Michael Bloomberg in the 2020 presidential race, marking a departure from her traditional political involvement. In explaining her shift, she noted, "times have changed in our country, and I believe the moment has come for me to step out from behind the curtain."

While the outcome of Haley's campaign remains uncertain, Judge Judy's comments are likely to be used by President Trump throughout the election season. Trump has consistently mocked Biden's stage presence, questioning his ability to last until Election Day. The White House has addressed concerns about Biden's physical condition by implementing measures like special shoes and smaller flights of stairs, with Vice President Kamala Harris asserting that he is "very much alive."
