John, today marks 51 years since the U.S. Supreme Court decided in Roe v. Wade that Americans have a constitutionally-protected right to an abortion.

But nearly two years ago, our current radicalized, Republican-stacked Supreme Court stripped that right away from us, overturning a landmark decision and ignoring half a century of precedent. Today, 21 states ban or restrict abortion as a direct result of that disastrous ruling:

- Abortion banned or mostly banned: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia
- Abortion banned after 12 weeks: Nebraska, North Carolina
- Abortion banned after 15-18 weeks: Arizona, Florida, Utah

We've seen it again and again, John: When Republicans are in charge, they pass abortion bans. And they've made it clear they're not stopping with Roe.

But here's the good news: The 2022 and 2023 elections proved again and again that when choice is on the ballot, choice wins. The only way to prevent and reverse abortion bans is to keep anti-choice Republicans out of power at all levels of government. Thanks to the success of the pro-choice movement at the ballot box for the past two years, we were able to protect abortion access for tens of millions of Americans. 

Now, we're ready to do it again in 2024. Will you join the fight to restore abortion access nationwide, elect more Democratic pro-choice women, and get anti-choice Republicans out of power?
