Jack, if Daily Kos were to disappear tomorrow, nothing would take our place because no other organization or news outlet does the work we do—and that's pretty important. Unfortunately, for over a year, it has become harder and harder for us to make ends meet.

This isn't good news as the 2024 election unfolds.

Daily Kos is the country's largest progressive news and activism hub and we have a deep reach into the progressive movement. We have a long history of successfully recruiting large numbers of Get Out the Vote volunteers, supporting better Democratic candidates up and down the ballot, and supporting community-led organizations to mobilize voters.

We need to work just as hard to turn out Democratic voters in 2024 as we did in 2020, when we signed up over 100,000 Get Out the Vote volunteers, ultimately connecting with over a million voters.

Unfortunately, as we gear up for the 2024 elections, Daily Kos has fewer financial resources than we did four years ago. We can't repeat our electoral successes and win in 2024 with fewer resources.
