Today we mark the 51st anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court decision that established the right to abortion.

For 49 years, Roe affirmed that access to safe, reproductive health care was a right. But in 2022, millions were robbed of their fundamental right to make deeply personal health care decisions.

Today, without the protections of Roe v. Wade, Republicans are fighting harder than ever to impose their national abortion ban in every state throughout the country – even Oregon.

Let me be clear: I believe abortion and reproductive health care shouldn’t just be legal, it needs to be affordable and accessible. I’ll never stop fighting to make that a reality.

Today’s anniversary reminds us just how important it is to elect leaders who will safeguard a woman’s right to make private decisions about her body. That’s why I hope you’ll contribute to my reelection campaign today – because as long as I’m in Congress, I’ll never stop fighting to protect access to abortion care. [[link removed]]

We know that the Dobbs decision was just the beginning, and efforts to restrict access to abortion, birth control and other reproductive care are ongoing. But no matter what, I’m fighting until women nationwide have access to the abortion care they need.
