Today marks the 51st anniversary of the Supreme Court’s landmark decision on Roe v. Wade, which guaranteed reproductive freedom for women across the country.

Since then, Roe has been overturned, stripping away our rights and unleashing unprecedented attacks on the freedom for people to make their own healthcare decisions.

After Roe v. Wade was overturned, we’ve seen extreme abortion bans enacted in dozens of states across the country and extreme legislation introduced including right here in our state.

Last November, Ohioans voted to enshrine reproductive freedom in the Ohio Constitution. Voters across our state came together, unified under the fundamental belief that Ohio families deserve the freedom to access the care they need, when they need it.

But this fight is far from over – if Jim Jordan, Donald Trump, and other extreme Republicans have it their way, they’ll pass a national, total abortion ban.

It couldn’t be more important that we establish a Democratic, pro-choice Majority to codify Roe and stop these assaults on reproductive freedoms. But we can’t do that without you. I hope you’ll consider chipping in to my reelection campaign to keep me in the fight for reproductive freedom for all.
