You might have seen the news this morning that Anthony Albanese is preparing to break his key election promise…

Dear
Friend,
You might have seen the news this morning that Anthony Albanese is preparing to break his key election promise not to change the “stage three” tax cuts legislated by the Coalition government.

Before the last election Albanese gave the following commitment:

Journalist: “Stage three is absolutely locked in?”

Albanese: “Yes.”

Journalist: “There are no circumstances under which you would seek to roll back stage three?”

Albanese: “No.”

On another occasion before the election, Albanese told the Australian people:

“They've been legislated. We support them. We stand by that.”

Albanese and Jim Chalmers even put out a media release, which said:

“An Albanese Labor Government will deliver the same legislated tax relief to more than 9 million Australians as the Morrison Government.”

Changes to the stage three tax cuts would represent a clear breach of faith with the Australian people.

It would be a massive broken promise from Albanese.

If you can’t trust Albanese to keep that promise, how can you trust anything he says ever again?
Friend,
help us fight back against Anthony Albanese’s broken promises and bad decisions.
