** Three Measures to Ensure Ballot Access During the Coronavirus Pandemic ([link removed])

In recent election cycles, we have seen attempts to stop voters from exercising their right to vote. The additional stress that the coronavirus pandemic has placed on our election systems has highlighted the need for states to address those challenges and implement solutions to make it easier for voters to access the ballot.
The date of the general election is mandated by federal law, and the start and end dates of congressional and presidential terms are set by the Constitution. Therefore, to prepare for November, it is incumbent upon state legislators and election officials to take significant steps to ensure access to the ballot and smooth election administration during the coronavirus pandemic and beyond.
