51 years ago today, the Supreme Court passed down their decision in Roe v. Wade, legalizing abortion at the federal level.

Now, with Roe overturned, the freedoms counted on for decades have been thrown into chaos.

We’ve seen women forced to travel out of state to receive abortion care. We’ve seen people forced to carry unwanted pregnancies, punished for having miscarriages, and put in danger because they couldn’t access the reproductive care they needed. And it’s all because the GOP decided to take away our right to choose.

This shouldn’t be up for debate, friend. Reproductive freedom isn’t a question, it’s a necessity. But again and again, the GOP has forced us to fight a battle for our bodily autonomy – for our most fundamental human right.
