John,
Today marks the anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark decision Roe v. Wade, which protected abortion care under the Constitution.
Now, 51 years later, we are fighting again—state by state—to gain back our fundamental right to reproductive freedom.
That’s why today, on the 51st anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we are asking you to make a $5.10, $51, or $510 gift to help us elect pro-choice state legislators this year who will fight to keep abortion safe and legal.

Since the fall of Roe, Republicans in 21 states have implemented severe restrictions or outright bans, forcing people to travel across state lines to receive the medical care they need. In fact, 1 in 5 patients in the U.S. now have to travel to other states for reproductive care.
But we can fight back and win.
Across the country, voters continue to overwhelmingly reject Republican attempts to roll back abortion access in states like Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania — and in Virginia, where we organized to turn the General Assembly blue and stop Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin’s abortion ban.
John, abortion is a winning issue, and make no mistake: it will be back on the ballot in November.
Will you make a special gift today to support pro-choice champions in competitive state legislative races this year and protect abortion access?
In solidarity,
Sister District
