On this day in 1973, Roe v. Wade affirmed Americans’ right to safe and legal abortion.

But fast forward 51 years - Roe has been overturned and Republicans have made it their mission to dismantle reproductive freedom and curtail our most basic rights.

Extreme House Republicans have made a national abortion ban one of their top priorities, and most appallingly, some have even called for doctors providing reproductive health care to be jailed.

Before I go on, will you chip in to stop this anti-choice assault on reproductive rights?

I want to be absolutely, 100% clear about this: Anti-choice extremists know they can’t stop abortion; they can only stop safe abortion. Their agenda threatens the lives of millions.

As a woman and a mom of a daughter, I’m outraged.

That’s why I want to give you my word: I will fight like hell to protect the right to choose. And I won’t stop fighting until abortion is legal and safe in all 50 states.

But no matter how dedicated I am, I know I can’t do this alone. Defending my critical seat here in NV-03 and restoring a pro-choice majority in the House is an essential part of this fight. That’s how we’ll pass reproductive rights into law.

I hope I can count on you to stand up for reproductive rights. Will you chip in to my re-election campaign so I can keep up the fight in Congress?
