In a few hours, I’ll be taking the debate stage for the first time in this
campaign.

But before I do, I wanted to share a look behind the scenes of what goes
into debate prep (and there’s a fun throwback photo as well).

Over the last year, I’ve shared my vision for a brighter future for all
Californians across our great state. I’ve met so many wonderful people,
heard their stories, and turned their hopes and needs into concrete plans
to make a difference.

preparing my notes and getting ready to share the stage with other
candidates.

A lot of work goes into preparing for these debates,
John.

But I’m excited to share with California voters why I believe I am the
best candidate to take on the tough fights ahead, to build an economy that
works for everyone, and to defend our democracy.

P.S. I’ve been preparing for debates for a long time — after all, I was in
