51 years ago today, the US Supreme Court held 7-2 that our Constitution protects a woman’s right to abortion healthcare.

In 2022, the current MAGA Majority on the US Supreme Court -- every one of them having claimed to recognize Roe v. Wade as established legal precedent -- overturned the 1973 landmark decision in a breathtaking act of partisan judicial overreach.

Instead of commemorating Roe, we’re lamenting the demise of this fundamental constitutional right. My opponent and I could not be more different on this issue: Lori Chavez-DeRemer applauded the Court’s disastrous Dobbs decision overturning Roe, opposes reproductive freedom, and has supported a nationwide abortion ban.
