I am calling on ALL Angelenos to join me in an important effort.
Starting tomorrow until Thursday, January 25, the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) will kick off the annual point-in-time count of sheltered and unsheltered people experiencing homelessness.
These three days of ACTION ([link removed]) will help the City and County measure the amount of resources we need to ensure no one is left behind to live on the streets.
With your help, the data gathered will be used to make informed, data-driven decisions to address the homelessness crisis head-on.
Last year, we locked arms to bring thousands of people off the streets. ([link removed])
In 2024, that work continues.
These next three days are critical to help deliver services where they are needed most.
