John: Fifty-one years ago today, the United States Supreme Court ruled that the right to privacy, inherent in the Fourteenth Amendment, protects a woman’s right to have an abortion. That landmark decision was Roe v. Wade.
Our sisters, mothers, aunts, grandmothers, and mentors fought long and hard for that victory in 1973, and like so many of you, I am still reeling from the devastating Dobbs decision.
I was on live television when the news came down about Roe v. Wade being overturned. I had to look into the camera in my most nonpartisan way and tell every woman watching that her rights had been rolled back 50 years. It took a big chunk out of my heart.
But overturning Roe v. Wade and leaving abortion rights up to the states wasn’t enough for MAGA, big-government Republicans.
That’s why on Thursday, House Republicans (Congressman Scott Perry included) voted to pass two egregiously anti-choice bills. Scott Perry and his MAGA buddies in Congress won’t stop here— they won’t stop until they’ve totally banned abortion in all 50 states.
Although I’ve been reporting on news and politics for nearly 40 years, I decided to run for Congress because I had to do something. I could not sit on the sidelines and watch far-right extremists like Scott Perry continue to roll back our reproductive freedoms.
If we want to stop Republicans from further jeopardizing every American’s basic rights, we need to flip the House blue. And the path to flipping the House runs through PA-10. John: Donate $25 or $10 now to help me fire Scott Perry before it is too late.

The future of reproductive rights is in our hands. Will you help me stand up to Scott Perry?
Sincerely,
Janelle Stelson
Candidate for Congress
