Hi John! I’m Anna Stein, Josh’s wife.

I know you get a lot of emails from our team, but I wanted to reach out personally. I hope this message breaks through the noise.

Josh and I — and every one of us on this team — are so very grateful for your support over the last year and through the fight ahead. I’m loving traveling across the state with Josh when I can and listening to the stories of so many great people.

Since I first met Josh when we were interning together at the North Carolina Department of Justice, he’s always fought for what’s right and advocated for North Carolinians. That’s just one of many reasons why I know Josh is the Governor our state needs.

Together, we’re fighting for a future where our reproductive rights are protected, where our democracy is secure, and where our children can feel safe. That’s what all of us deserve.

But the polls show that this race is a dead heat. North Carolina is going to be a battleground state this fall, and our victory or defeat could hinge on just a handful of votes — really! We’ll spend every day between now and Election Day working to turn out voters for Josh and other Democrats down the ballot. We’re counting on you to help, John!
