Team, 51 years ago today, Roe v. Wade was made the law of the land. This monumental decision enshrined reproductive rights under federal law.

But just over a year ago, the Supreme Court struck down these rights. Women around the country saw the Trump-packed Supreme Court strip away their hard-fought right to choose – rolling back decades of progress.

We know that reproductive health should be left between an individual and their doctor, full stop. Yet, Republicans in state legislatures and in Congress have made it their mission to enforce barbaric restrictions on abortion rights.

Lisa has stood on the frontlines of the fight to enshrine reproductive freedom at the highest level of government. It's why she voted in favor of and helped pass the Women's Health Protection Act in the House, which would've codified abortion access under federal law. But extremist Republicans in the Senate blocked it.
