As New Hampshire prepares for the GOP primary on Tuesday, the right's presidential nomination is now between Nikki Haley and Trump. Tuesday's vote will shine a light on whether or not Haley has a chance to defeat Trump for the nomination.

Congress passes short-term funding bill to avoid shutdown

The House and the Senate have passed a stopgap spending measure to fund the government through early March. 

This is the latest in a string of short-term spending bills, primarily used to buy lawmakers more time to draft and advance a full suite of 12 annual government spending measures.
