As a Doctor and Paramedic, I have played a prominent role as a pioneer of the STOP THE BLEED® campaign in Bolivia for approximately six years. My dedication has been evident not only in raising awareness about the crucial importance of immediate intervention in emergencies but also in my consistent commitment to providing STOP THE BLEED® training in various regions of Bolivia. During this time, I've had the opportunity to conduct workshops and training sessions in different communities, emphasizing my love and passion for teaching.

I am enthusiastic about sharing my knowledge and experiences, especially in the context of bleeding control, where I have directly witnessed the positive impact of a quick and effective response. A fundamental part of my work is changing paradigms within bleeding control. I don't just limit myself to teaching techniques and providing essential information; I also aim to inspire a mindset shift in the community. I want the population not only to acquire practical skills but also to adopt a proactive attitude towards preparedness and response in critical situations.The satisfaction I derive from seeing people absorb this knowledge and feel empowered to act in critical moments is indescribable. My ultimate goal goes beyond teaching; I seek to catalyze a cultural change where bleeding control is considered a basic skill, and emergency preparedness becomes an integral part of our everyday life in Bolivia.

Training is at the heart of the STOP THE BLEED® campaign and STOP THE BLEED® Instructors are the ones that make the heart beat!  The Instructor Spotlight shines a bright light on individuals engaging their communities about STOP THE BLEED®.
