Today would have marked 51 years of Roe v. Wade, but the Supreme Court’s right-wing majority overturned it and wiped out abortion access for millions. And anti-choice Republicans didn’t stop there.

We’ve seen an all-out assault on our rights and freedoms ever since, with 13 states enacting complete abortion bans instantly. After the Dobbs decision, Wisconsinites lived under a criminal abortion ban that was passed in 1849. And right now, Wisconsin Republicans are taking their extreme agenda even further by introducing a new bill to restrict abortion access in our state. Again.

Senate Republicans have also made clear that their ultimate goal is to pass a national abortion ban — and my potential opponent is echoing the same extreme rhetoric.

Vulnerable Democratic Senators like me are the only thing standing in the way of Republicans securing the majority and advancing their national abortion ban. So on this anniversary of the Roe decision, I’m asking you to recommit to the fight for reproductive freedom:
