Two years ago, extreme right-wing Supreme Court Justices appointed by Donald Trump ripped those rights away. The GOP immediately pounced, passing draconian abortion bans here in Georgia and in states across the country – a devastating outcome that Trump has proudly claimed credit for.
Today, abortion rights are still under attack.
Trump and every single GOP candidate for president would support a national abortion ban if elected in November, and Trump has even said there should be “punishment” for women who receive abortions. Meanwhile, Joe Biden and Democrats are working to enshrine reproductive rights into law, protecting women’s fundamental freedom to control their own health care decisions.
