John,
On January 22, 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court - erroneously - decided that Americans across the nation had a constitutional “right” to abortion.
This past weekend, the Walk for Life in California, and the March for Life in Washington, D.C., took place in recognition of this fateful day.
We rejoice that Roe v. Wade was miraculously overturned in 2022, a result of the tireless efforts of pro-life activists around the country for the last 51 years.
At least 32,000 children have been saved nationwide from abortion since Roe was overturned. Every life saved is a cause for celebration, and every challenge we face is worth it even if we only save one life.
Yet, even with this momentous victory, preborn babies are still being killed. Many of them are being starved to death by the abortion pill. Over 50 percent of abortions in this country are happening in this dangerous, DIY way.
I was proud to speak at the Walk for Life in my home state of California.
It was such an honor to be among thousands of pro-life Californians who love life, and who believe in a better future for our beautiful state.
In California, we have the chance to become a part of the solution that saves children and doesn’t surrender to the culture of death that seeks to destroy children.
Our movement can’t be stopped because it is fueled by love and a passionate commitment to the value of every human being. Each of us has the power to transform the lives of those around us by loving sacrificially, speaking the truth, and living lives of service.
Our message is clear: California, the state of endless opportunities, can once again become a beacon of life, love, and resilience. This is true for our nation, as well.
Death is no future, the only future can be life.
When we kill our children, we kill our future — but life is stronger than death. And thousands of lives have been saved since the Roe’s overturning.
Beauty does shine forth above suffering. The truth will prevail.
Victory is possible, even probable. That is if you and I press on using the victory of overturning Roe as a stepping stone, working and praying with God’s grace.
