On Sunday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced on X that he was suspending his presidential campaign and endorsing President Donald Trump, bringing to an end an unimpressive campaign that saw him trailing Trump by more than 50 points at any given time since he announced his candidacy for President last May.
DeSantis posted the video announcement on X with the caption, “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
